A Surface Cleaner, Not a Wand

Flat concrete is cleaned with a rotating surface cleaner that holds consistent pressure and distance across a wide band. That is what produces an even finish. An open wand moved by hand leaves the striped, zebra-patterned result you see on a lot of driveways, and those marks do not wash out afterward.

Pre-Treatment Before Pressure

Most of what darkens Florida concrete is organic growth living in the pores of the surface. Pressure alone displaces it and it grows back. Applying a cleaning solution first kills it, and specific treatments handle rust and oil, which respond to chemistry rather than force.

Pressure Matched to the Material

Plain broom-finished concrete, stamped or coated concrete, pavers, and cool-deck surfaces all tolerate different pressure. Too much on a decorative coating strips it. Too much on pavers blows the joint sand out. Getting that right is most of the job.

Paver Cleaning and Sealing

Pavers need care that plain concrete does not. Growth colonises the joints as well as the faces, so cleaning has to reach between the units without stripping out all the sand that keeps them locked together. Joints are re-sanded after a thorough clean.

Sealing is a separate decision from cleaning. A sealed surface resists staining and can deepen the colour, but it is not right for every installation, and it should only ever go onto a surface that is properly clean and fully dry. We will tell you honestly whether it makes sense for yours.
